Restituere 2021 – Article and Poster Competition was held in June, following the theme of the World Environmental Day 2021: Ecosystem Restoration. Despite being the very first competition organized by the society, participants from several faculties showed their keen interest in competing in this event. The contestants were tasked to identify a local ecosystem crisis and provide solutions by analyzing lessons learned from a similar crisis that took place somewhere else in the world, in the form of an article or a poster.

Nadeesha Fernando (S17), Champika Navodani (AGFT15), Jayamini Gunaratne (S16) placed first, second, and third respectively in the Article Writing category.

Udith Dushantha (S19), Lakna Jayasinghe (S18), Milred Reshani (S19) placed first, second, and third respectively in the Poster Designing category.

As we congratulate the winners of the first competition, we are delighted to inform you that we plan to continue this competition annually and to expand into an inter-university format!
